PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that makes the glossiness of an image formed on a sheet uniform within a page.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1A reads a test chart formed on a sheet P with a line sensor 14 and measures a glossiness distribution of an image after fixation within a page. The image forming apparatus controls any one of the amount and temperature of the air blown out from an air blowing part 13 or both the amount and temperature of the air according to the glossiness distribution of the image within a page, and makes the glossiness of the image after fixation uniform within the page.
