PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion battery that improves life characteristics by suppressing deterioration due to repetitive charging and discharging, and also suppresses deterioration under high temperature environment.SOLUTION: A lithium ion battery includes a positive electrode sheet containing a positive electrode binder and a cathode active material having two or more crystal phases. The positive electrode binder contains aromatic polyamide whose aromatic ring has a para orientation, in which the percentage of a constitutional unit having the para orientation occupies not less than 80% of the total of aromatic rings. |
