<p>The present invention relates to a method for sewing leather on a steering wheel which sews leather on a rim of a steering wheel while preventing a contacted end portion of leather fabric from being detached and preventing sewing cotton backstitched or sewn on the leather fabric from being detached at the same time, thereby minimizing a defect rate generated when sewing leather on a steering wheel and improving productivity. According to the present invention, provided is a method for sewing leather on a steering wheel which includes steps of: sewing an end portion of the leather fabric while also sewing a portion in which the end portion of the leather fabric comes in contact with a spoke of a steering wheel to finish the end portion of the leather fabric; and sewing the leather fabric on the rim of the steering wheel, and sewing the end portions of the leather fabric coming in contact with each other, while sewing the end portion of the leather fabric up to the portion coming in contact with the spoke of the steering wheel.</p> |
