The present invention relates to a safety support device for preventing a bus passenger from falling and, more specifically, to a safety support device for preventing a bus passenger from falling, which prevents a bus passenger from falling by displacement phenomenon when a quick start and a sudden stop, while a bus passenger is free to move within a bus. As the present invention, the safety support device for preventing a bus passenger from falling comprises: a hinge unit installed in a safe bar or a chair within a bus, rotating a support unit in a passenger boarding direction to facilitate boarding and unboarding, and not rotating in a bus inner direction to protect a passenger when a quick start and a sudden stop; and a support unit connected to a side of the hinge unit and protecting a passenger when a quick start and a quick brake. The present invention enables a passenger to be free to move and simultaneously prevents a passenger from falling when a sudden stop and a quick start. Thus, a safety accident in a bus is significantly reduced.
