<p>The invention concerns a tool designed to form a collar (4) at one end of a metal tube (2) by displacement of material, said tool comprising: · a female portion comprising a longitudinal recess in which the tube can be immobilised, · a male portion comprising a support (30) and a tooth (40) extending in the longitudinal direction, the tooth comprising an active end designed to penetrate the end of the tube that is to be deformed. The tooth (40) comprises a body having a section of which the dimensions are greater than dimensions of the active end, the active end and the body being connected by a fillet, · the tooth is slidingly mounted in a recess of the support along the longitudinal axis between: - an initial position in which the fillet forms a guide surface designed to guider the end of the tube during deformation, and - an end position in which the fillet forms, with a wall (33) of the recess of the male portion, a groove in which the wall of the tube comes to be immobilised.</p> |
