<p>The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising an extract of the golden silkworm cocoon as an active ingredient which contains 0.00001-30.0 weight% of an extract of the golden silkworm cocoon in respect with the total weight of the cosmetic composition. The extract of the golden silkworm cocoon has more excellent effects of anti-oxidation, inhibition of MMP-1 generation, promotion of collagen synthesis, inhibition of melanin generation, reduction of cytotoxicity induced by UV ray exposure, inhibition of expression of inflammatory cytokine induced by UV ray exposure, and improvement of skin elasticity than effects of an extract of the common silkworm cocoon. Therefore, the extract of the golden silkworm cocoon can be advantageously used for functional cosmetic materials.</p> |
