The ventilator (10) includes a blower structured to provide a source of pressurized air and a valve assembly provided to the blower and structured to allow air to flow through the blower along a flow path in both directions. The blower includes a flow element along the flow path structured to measure flow in both directions and conduct heat from a motor of the blower.
