The present invention relates to an apparatus for guiding the suction of an impeller in a centrifugal pump. The centrifugal pump includes a pump housing having a space inside; an impeller eccentrically embedded in the pump housing; a guide vane covering the impeller in the circumferential direction; a suction pipe connected to one surface of the pump housing and connected to the impeller in the axial direction; and a discharge pipe connected to a portion of the circumference of the pump housing, wherein a spiral groove is formed on an inner circumference of the suction pipe to enable fluid supplied to the impeller to be rotated and supplied in the rotary direction of the impeller. According to the present invention, cavitation caused by collision with the impeller is suppressed when sucking the fluid through a fluid suction guide of a simple structure, thereby minimizing erosion of the impeller to extend the useful life of the impeller.
