The invention relates to a keyboard comprising at least one key sliding up to the retainer of mechanisms in an orifice embodied in the front side of the keyboard, frequently micro contacts fixed to printed circuit cards which penetrate when the key is pressed and bring it back to a rest position when the pressure is released and is characterised in that for at least one key there are at least two, but generally from two to ten individualised mechanisms. Often, the keys are provided with a bit which is projected inwards the keyboard and is arranged on the bottom of a recess of the same shape embodied in the internal surface of the front side slightly dipper than the key path. In one embodiment, the path is limited by bringing the internal face of the bit into contact with the external side of the end of the mechanism, often a micro contact button. In order to avoid the rotation of the keys around the translation axes thereof, the recess or the sliding body of the key and the orifice are provided with a non-circular cross section. Said characteristics provide the keyboard with a high reliability. The inventive keyboard can be more user-friendly by emitting visible, audible, olfactive or tactile signals, for example a light signal emitted by one or several diodes disposed between the micro contacts around the key axes when each key is actuated.
|
