HYDROGEN RECOIL FOR CATALYTICAL COMBUSTION OF PROCESS GAS HYDROGEN AT NUCLEAR POWER STATION

FIELD: power engineering.SUBSTANCE: device inner shell bottom is tightly connected for gas mix feed via pipe with outer shell bottom to minimise the formation of concentration limit of the explosion of hydrogen mix with air. Outer shell is heated by electrical heaters over its entire length along with bottom and gas mix feed pipe. Shell with its heater and pipe with has mix feed line are surrounded with heat-insulation envelope to maintain required temperature and reliable actuation of catalytic hydrogen recoil. Extra thermocouple is arranged at the shell to measure its temperature for reliable control over heat process and hydrogen combustion. Quantity of heaters selected with power margin is divided into groups to allow non-stop operation of hydrogen recoil in failure of one group.EFFECT: reduced probability of explosion of the mix of hydrogen with air.2 cl, 3 dwg
