<p>Discloses a weight control composition comprising an alginate in with one or more adjuvants, diluents or carriers which are acceptable for consumption by animals, including human beings with the proviso that none of the adjuvants, diluents and carriers are a source of non-solubilised divalent cations. Further discloses the use of said weight control composition in the manufacture of a medicament and a cosmetic method of controlling weight gain in a subject comprising administering the weight control composition.</p> |
