The present invention relates to a waste bin that can minimize leaking of odor from the waste bin, maximize the volume of the collected waste by compressing the waste inputted in the waste bin, and easily take out the waste from the bin. The waste bin includes a bin body (100) having a waste input opening (120) formed in a lid (150), an opened portion (130) formed on one side, and a waste container mounting member (110) slidably moving in the opened portion; a waste container (200) mounted on the waste container mounting member and having a support member (210) at a lower portion and a plastic bag (220) therein; a waste compacting member (300) installed in an upper portion of the waste container and moving in a vertical direction so as to compact the waste inputted in the waste container from the waste input opening; and plastic bag support members (400) installed along an outer peripheral portion of the waste container at regular intervals to support an upper portion of the plastic bag positioned in the waste container. The plastic bag support member has a post (410) having a length longer than the waste container, an operation portion (430) installed on an upper end of the post and folded around an articulation portion (420) to be elected or folded toward the waste container, and a clip portion (440) installed at a front end of the operation portion to hold the upper portion of the plastic bag. |
