Cover assembly

Disclosed is a cover sealing strip assembly for use with a wall cladding assembly having one or more panels to cover or weatherproof the joint between two wall panels. The cover assembly includes a base comprising a base member for attachment to a building structure so as in use to be positioned proximate an edge portion of at least one of the panels of the walling assembly. A base attachment formation extends outwardly from the base member; and an elongate cover has a cover portion to extend longitudinally along the edge portion and has a transverse width, along with a cover attachment formation extending outwardly from the cover portion. The cover attachment formation is adapted to be attached to the base attachment formation to retain the cover portion in a position overlapping the edge portion. The base attachment formation comprises a base stem and a male attachment outwardly extending from the base stem and the cover attachment formation comprises a cover stem and a female attachment outwardly extending from the cover stem. The base male attachment formation is adapted to be attached to the female attachment. The cover portion is adapted to be coextensive with the base member when attached thereto. The male attachment and the female attachment are adapted to be attached in a snap-fit.
