摘要 The present invention relates to a functional food composition comprising yam (Discoreabatatas) powder, lactic acid bacteria powder, and powder including other natural substances having excellent appealability and functionality, and more specifically, to a yam-lactic acid bacteria powder functional food composition prepared by adding lactic acid bacteria powder into yam powder to overcome difficulties of taking yam powder and enhance appealability, and reduce death of lactic acid bacteria against stomach acid and bile acid by protecting lactic acid bacteria by mucin components of yam. The functional food composition comprising yam-lactic acid bacteria powder of the present invention solves all inconvenience of taking, carrying, and storing yam and yam powder and low appealability, and enhances useful biological active functions of yam and intestinal regulation of lactic acid bacteria, thereby having high possibility of being used for health functional food fields.
