The invention relates to a method for securing system-specific data of an actuator of a motor vehicle, preferably of an automated transmission system and/or an automated friction clutch, wherein the system-specific data is stored in an electronic unit comprised by the actuator and is read out from the electronic unit. In a method, in which after replacement of a defective electronic unit, the recommissioning of the operational electronic unit is carried out in a timesaving and cost-reducing manner, the system-specific data is read out from the defective electronic unit and is temporarily stored and, after removal of the defective electronic unit from the actuator and the installation of the operational electronic unit into the actuator, is transferred into the operational electronic unit. |
