<p>PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a vinyl chloride polymer is provided to improve polymerization conversion rate and productivity and to effectively and safely manufacture a vinyl chloride polymer with the same physical properties as conventional products. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a vinyl chloride polymer comprises a step of suspension polymerizing a vinyl chloride monomer under the presence of a polymerization distributor and a polymerization initiator. When the polymerization conversion ratio of the suspension polymerization is reached up to 10-40%, a vinyl chloride monomer, second polymerization initiator, and a reductant are additionally put in. The reductant is sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate. The suspension polymerization is conducted at 30-80°C and 3-15 kg/cm^2 for 2-6 hours.</p> |
