<p>Systems, apparatus, and methods are provided for preventing, reducing, and/or treating pain in a subject, including a wearable device with a plurality of non-invasive electrical contacts configured such that, when the device is worn by the subject, at least two of the plurality of electrical contacts are in contact with a first location of the subject's body and positioned in near proximity to at least one treatment point corresponding to a second location of the subject's body, the second location being remote from the at least one treatment point and at least one processor that controls the wearable device to stimulate the at least one treatment point by application of an electrical pulse signal through the at least two of the plurality of electrical contacts so as to at least one of prevent, reduce, and treat pain in the second location of the subject's body.</p> |
