NOVEL ACTIVITY OF AHPF PROTEIN OF PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA, AND USE THEREFOR

The present invention relates to: an AhpF protein which has a thioredoxin reductase, peroxidise, and chaperone activity and is derived from Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and to a use therefor. By using the novel activity of the AhpF of Pseudomonas aeruginosa of the present invention, it is possible to produce a plant which is strongly resistant to diverse forms of environmental stress such as oxidative stress or heat stress, and hence it is possible to contribute to increased crop productivity and volume production of useful constituents, and it is possible to prevent desertification and environmental pollution through the development of genetically modified plants that are resistant to high temperatures and drying.
