PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability, by preventing painting nonuniformity and an unpainted part of a transparent coating film, in a coating film formation method used for surface finishing of a building and a civil engineering structure, for forming the transparent coating film on a colored coating film.SOLUTION: The coating film formation method of the present invention is a coating film formation method for forming the transparent coating film on the colored coating film, and the colored coating film includes an ultraviolet ray absorber and/or a photostabilizer, and the transparent coating film includes (A) an organic resin, (B) an aqueous medium, (C) a decoloration pigment and (D) a metallic ion, and is formed of an aqueous coating liquid for providing the transparent coating film being 0.01-100 mg/L in the concentration of the discoloration pigment (C), being 1-1000 mg/L in the concentration of the metallic ion (D), being colored in painting work and discoloring the pigment after forming the coating film. |
