<p>The present invention relates to a method to recover high-purity ruthenium using a bio-adsorbent from an acetic acid waste fluid. According to the present invention, the method to recover valuable metals is capable of selectively recovering high-purity ruthenium of 95 wt% or more from a waste fluid manufactured from acetic acid, and reducing the time and costs required to conventionally separate and purify ruthenium. According to the present invention, surface-modified biomass is environmentally friendly and economical as fermented waste is recycled, and can be widely used as an inexpensive bio-absorption material to replace conventional expensive adsorbents.</p>
