<p>Disclosed is a device to cool a strip in a hot rolling mill. The disclosed device to cool the strip in the hot rolling mill comprises: an anti-filling header provided in the lower part of a pass line in an entry side of a work roll, activating lubrication by FeO as a coolant is sprayed to the lower surface of a strip transported through the pass line and the FeO component in scale formed on the lower surface of the strip is increased; and a coolant supply tube connected to the anti-filling header. According to the present invention, friction between the strip and the lower work roll can be reduced. Therefore, a mill scale on the surface of a lower work roll is provided from being worn out.</p> |
