PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a wide-range of macrocyclic compounds.SOLUTION: Provided are a method usable for production of a widely various macrocyclic compounds having a biologically important structure and a macrocyclic compound library incorporating 2 to 5 building units, 1 to 4 amino acids and a tether chain controlling the whole molecular shape. The compound is useful for screening assay implementation or as an intermediate for synthesis of pharmaceutically notable other compounds. In addition, a production method in a combinatorial mode is provided.
