A cell control unit system that makes it possible to maintain a monitoring control operation for a cell ECU system without using an auxiliary cell even when a cell pack switch, which is provided to a cell pack and set to ON during cell use, is switched off. A cell control unit system (1) for detecting the state of a cell (3) for driving a vehicle (20), computationally monitoring the state of the cell (3) on the basis of the detected information, and controlling a circuit device in the vicinity of the cell (3) from the monitoring results, wherein the cell control unit system (1) is provided with an internal power supply (5) directly connected in parallel to the cell (3) and adapted to supply power to the cell control unit system (1), a microcontroller (7) actuated by the internal power supply (5) being used to detect the ON/OFF states of the cell pack switch (2) by software processing. When the cell pack switch (2) is OFF, the cell control unit system (1) is actuated in a low-power-consumption mode, or the cell control unit system (1) switches on a cell connection/disconnection switch (4) in response to the running state of the vehicle (20). |
