Multilayer-Structured Electrode and Lithium Secondary Battery Comprising The Same

PURPOSE: An electrode with a multilayer structure remarkably increases the adhesion between a current collector and an electrode current collector and reduces resistance by reducing the amount of binder in the electrode mixture. CONSTITUTION: A multilayer structure electrode includes an electrode current collector transferring electrons between an external wire and an electrode active material; a binding layer which is formed on the electrode current collector and includes a first binder bonding the electrode current collector and a first binder; and an electrode mixture layer which is formed on the binding layer and contains an electrode active material and a second binder. The electrode current collector is a metal foil. The metal foil is aluminum or copper foil. The thickness of the binding layer is 0.1-0.3 microns.
