Disclosed are a method and an apparatus to generate a magnetic resonance image. The present invention performs an imaging of a magnetic resonance image using a high frequency multi-coil including multiple channel coils. The magnetic resonance image generating method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps of: generating a plurality of K space completion data corresponding to multiple channel coils and generating a plurality of image data by converting each of the K space completion data into each of frequency domains; acquiring a magnetic resonance image by combining the image data; and acquiring phase information of the magnetic resonance image based on at least one between first phase information which is phase information of each of multiple channels acquired from each of the multiple image data and second phase information which is phase information of each of multiple channels acquired from each of the multiple K space completion data.
