<p>The method modifies the ripper hook mount of a grader by removal of the pin anchors normally present in order to receive a bifurcated component with a pair of bores to take the ripper hook bolt, the component in turn straddling the modified mount and providing support for a trailer coupling, whereby the grader can tow the trailer while preserving ripper hook operation.
