According to one embodiment of the present invention, an information processing device that reduces work when a resident associates an electric power measuring instrument with an apparatus is provided with a read-in unit, an index calculating unit, a prediction processing unit, and a visualizing means. The read-in unit reads in association information that defines the type of apparatus that a first electric power measuring instrument measures, the first electric power measuring instrument being at least one of a plurality of electric power measuring instruments that measure the electric power used by respectively associated apparatuses and acquire electric power data. The index calculating unit calculates indexes from the electric power data. The prediction processing unit uses, as learning data, the index calculated from the electric power data for the apparatus measured by the first electric power measuring instrument and predicts, from the index calculated from the electric power data for an apparatus measured by a second electric power measuring instrument among the plurality of electric power measuring instruments which is different from the first electric power measuring instrument, a candidate for the type of apparatus measured by the second electric power measuring instrument. The visualizing means visualizes the candidate apparatus type predicted by the prediction processing unit. |
