The present invention relates to a winch device for inserting a hull block capable of stably transferring the hull block while minimizing the transverse movement of a wire when moving the wire fixated to the hull block. A winch device for inserting a hull block according to one desirable embodiment of the present invention is characterized by including a base plate; a horizontal member horizontally moving in the left and right directions on the top surface of the base plate; a pair of vertical supporters; a wire drum positioned between the upper inner sides of the vertical supporters and installed to be able to rotated in both directions; a wire wound on or unwound from the wire drum to be moved in the upper and lower direction and fixated to the hull block; a wire guide fixated on the base plate and guiding the wire to be positioned on the center always when the wire is wound on or unwound from the wire drum; a driving motor fixated on one side of the wire drum to make the wired drum rotate in both direction; a power transmitting unit transmitting the torque of the wire drum rotating with the driving motor according to the operation of the driving motor; and a horizontal moving member converting the torque received by the power transmitting unit into linear movement to horizontally move the horizontal member.
