1. Communications equipment for use by a call centre to enable communications between the call centre and one or more user devices, the communications equipment comprising:
audio processing circuitry for processing audio signals received from the user devices over a communications network, wherein the processing circuitry is configured to perform acoustic echo cancellation and/or noise suppression and/or dereverberation processing on the received audio signals to cancel acoustic echoes and/or suppress noise and/or suppress reverberation that is present in the audio signals received from the user device, a database for storing information on the call centre environment, one or more user devices, one or more call centre devices, preferences of users associated with the one or more user devices and/or preferences of personnel in the call centre; wherein, on initiation of a call to the call centre by one of the user devices, the communications equipment is configured to retrieve the information relevant to the call from the database, and the audio processing circuitry is configured to adjust the processing of the audio signals based on the retrieved information. |
