Provided are a method and apparatus for transmitting signalling. The method comprises: adopting a binary phase shift keying (BPSK) mode of rotating a first angle to modulate at least some signalling information carried by at least one signalling symbol in a signalling domain of a data packet so as to obtain modulated signalling information, wherein the first angle is not equal to 0 degrees or 90 degrees; and sending a data packet carrying the modulated signalling information to a receiving end. Since the embodiments of the present invention adopt a modulation mode which is different from a conventional modulation mode to modulate a signalling domain of a data packet, a data packet format corresponding to this modulation mode can be distinguished from a conventional data packet format.
