The present invention relates to a superabsorbent resin preparation method capable of improving the physical properties of the resin and recycling fine powder thereof generated during a preparation process. Specifically, provided is a superabsorbent resin preparation method for improving the physical properties of the resin by using a base resin containing a hydrogel polymer and a base-treated fine powder regranulated body having a degree of polymerization different from that of the hydrogel polymer in the superabsorbent resin preparation.
