PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce residual images and power consumption in a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device capable of inputting an image signal to a pixel portion selectively is provided. It is possible for the liquid crystal display device to input the image signal only to a fast-moving region. Therefore, residual images in displaying a moving image can be reduced. Further, in the liquid crystal display device, it is possible that the image signal is not input to a slow-moving region. Accordingly, power consumption can be reduced.
