<p>The present invention relates to a balance spring (42) intended for being connected to a balance (40) of a clock movement having a low thermal expansion coefficient, the balance spring (42) being made of a first composite material including first long fibres, comprising a majority of silica, embedded in a matrix made of a thermosetting polymer, wherein the composite material also includes second long fibres selected from the group comprising carbon fibres and aramid fibres, the second long fibres also being embedded in the matrix. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a balance spring (42), with optional steps for manufacturing a balance (40) that is integral with the balance spring (42).</p> |
