PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel, improved IL-7 polypeptide.SOLUTION: Disclosed herewith are a novel and improved interleukin-7 polypeptide, a composition comprising the same, and a preparation and use thereof. More specifically, the invention relates to a hyperglycosylated IL-7 polypeptide having improved properties as well as production and therapeutic use thereof. The invention also relates to a novel IL-7 polypeptide having an amino acid sequence containing an artificially created glycosylated site, a corresponding nucleic acid molecule thereof, a vector and a recombinant host cell. The invention also relates to the use of such a polypeptide, a cell or a nucleic acid for treatment or prophylactic treatment of a mammalian subject including a human subject. |
