The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image processing device that enhances the visibility of display information for the user. To achieve this purpose, an image processing device according to the present invention is provided with: an acquisition unit which obtains an image including a marker that has an image pattern including first pixel regions and second pixel regions, and that thereby defines both display information and a reference point for displaying the display information; an extraction unit which extracts the point of intersection between a first line segment and a second line segment, wherein the first line segment is defined both by a first boundary line between a first pixel region and a second pixel region which are vertically concatenated to each other and form a first concatenation region, and also by a second boundary line between a first pixel region and a second pixel region which are point-symmetric to the first concatenation region, and wherein the second line segment is defined both by a third boundary line between a first pixel region and a second pixel region which are laterally concatenated to each other and form a second concatenation region, and also by a fourth boundary line between a first pixel region and a second pixel region which are point-symmetric to the second concatenation region; and a calculation unit which uses the extracted point of intersection as a reference point to calculate the position at which the display information is to be displayed. |
