<p>[Problem] To provide a body weight support device that has a simple structure and with which a power position posture necessary to prevent back pain, and recovery from this posture, can be easily achieved. [Solution] Provided is a body weight support device (1) that ameliorates the stooping posture or the like of a worker, said body weight support device comprising: a sole section (2) upon which a foot is placed; a pair of connecting sections (3a, 3b) that extend from either side of this sole section (2); a rotatable shin-receiving section (5) that is attached via connecting shaft sections (4a, 4b) disposed on the end sections of the connecting sections (3a, 3b); spring members (6a, 6b) that bias the shin-receiving section (5) in the plantar flexion direction; and stopper mechanisms (7a, 7b) that stop the shin-receiving section (5), which rotates due to the dorsiflexion of the shin against the the biasing force of the spring members (6a, 6b), at a desired dorsiflexion angle. The spring members (6a, 6b) store energy from the dorsiflexion of the shin and are mounted on the connecting shaft sections (4a, 4b) so as to apply rotational force to the shin-receiving section (5) in the plantar flexion direction.</p> |
