PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation monitoring device.SOLUTION: There is provided a radiation detector (1) for measuring one or a plurality of characteristics of radiation which includes one or a plurality of detector pixels (3) and a clock pulse generator. Each detector pixel (3) includes: a sensor (20) which generates an electric signal in response to an event of photons or charged particles of the radiation colliding the sensor (20); and a pixel electronic circuit (24) which includes an analog processing unit (62) for amplifying and shaping the electric signal to generate a shaped pulse, and is constituted to receive and process the electric signal. The pixel electronic circuit (24) includes a time determination unit (51) for counting a TOT count, the TOT count being a clock pulse number generated in a time interval when the shaped pulse is higher than a threshold value. The pixel electronic circuit includes a plurality of event counters (82), and each event counter (82) counts an event number having the TOT count within a predefined range. |
