<p>Provided is a white paperboard which exhibits excellent bulkiness and cushioning properties, excellent printability as a paperboard for printing, and excellent paper-processing properties as a paperboard for cartons. This white paperboard is manufactured having a multilayer structure comprising at least 3 layers, and is obtained by combining a front layer, an intermediate layer, and a back layer. LBCTMP having a bulk of 3.0-3.8 cm3/g is included in only the intermediate layer so as to account for 10-50 wt% of a total pulp starting material of the intermediate layer. LBCTMP obtained from the genus Maple is employed as the LBCTMP.</p> |
