The present invention relates to a one coat painting composition for high gloss characterized by comprising 35-65 wt% of a first acryl resin, 15-25 wt% of a second acryl resin and 15-45 wt% of a polyester resin as a base material, and to a coating method thereof. The one coat painting composition according to the present invention maintains and complements a high gloss appearance of a base material by performing primary coating on a high gloss injection molded substrate and can be widely applied to automotive external plastic parts by satisfying environment resistance properties such as adhesiveness, weather resistance, scratch resistance and the like.
