<p>According to the present invention, an eye-tracking-based user interface method includes a step of matching a central position of a pupil, obtained from image information taken through a camera, with a central position of a UI in a display panel of a terminal; and a step of recognizing touch for user interface when the matching between the central position of the pupil and the central position of the UI is kept for more than a predetermined time. With the present invention, without the detection of a complex movement of eyes, only up, down, left, and right movements are detected by using one single camera so that the movements are able to be applied to a user interface of a portable terminal.</p> |
