The apparatus for displaying images according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communication interface unit for receiving an identifier to represent an arbitrary object and service information matched to the identifier; a storage unit for storing the identifier and the service information; a detection unit for detecting a user gesture; a control unit for processing content service corresponding to the identifier using the service information matched to the identifier when the user gesture corresponds to the identifier stored in the storage unit; and a display unit for displaying content by the content service.
