The present invention relates to an electric shock prevention apparatus for an LED lamp. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric shock prevention apparatus for an LED lamp is connected to a first socket and a second socket of a fluorescent lamp, and includes a power supply unit which provides a driving power voltage necessary for the LED lamp. The power supply unit includes: a first power input unit connected to the first socket to convert an AC power voltage introduced from the outside into a DC power voltage and to provide the DC power voltage; a second power input unit connected to the second socket to convert an AC power voltage introduced from the outside into a DC power voltage and to provide the DC power voltage, and connected to the first power input unit; a smoothing unit connected to rear ends of the first power input unit and the second power input unit to remove the ripple of the DC power voltage output from the first power input unit and the second power input unit; a control unit configured to a rear end of the smoothing unit to convert the DC power voltage input from the smoothing unit into a driving power voltage necessary for the LED lamp and to provide the driving power voltage, and configured to generate an auxiliary power voltage in the case that the first socket and the second socket are connected to connection pins of the LED lamp; and an electric shock prevention switching unit turned on and off by the auxiliary power voltage to prevent the formation of an electric shock loop by the smoothing unit. Therefore, the present invention adds the electric shock prevention switching unit to a power input side where a power voltage is supplied through a ballast for a fluorescent lamp to turn off the electric shock prevention switching unit when a connection pin of the LED lamp is connected to a socket for a fluorescent lamp to prevent the formation of an electric shock loop, thereby turning on and off the LED lamp stably even when the LED lamp is connected to the ballast for a fluorescent lamp and preventing an electric shock accident upon mounting or attaching and detaching the LED lamp. |
