<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split type connecting rod in which a cap can be easily and accurately incorporated to a large end of a connecting rod body. <P>SOLUTION: The split type connecting rod 20 is configured such that the large end 22 of the connecting rod body 21 and the cap 25 can be fastened while the matching parts 33, 38 are butted. The split type connecting rod 20 has a positioning recess 39 formed on the matching part 38 of the cap 25, and a projection 34 formed on the matching part 33 of the large end 22 and engageable with the positioning recess 39. A width dimension W2 of the positioning recess 39 and a width dimension W1 of the positioning projection 34 are larger than a clearance dimension (D2-D1) as a difference between a hole diameter D2 of a through hole 36 and an outer diameter D1 of a bolt 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
