<p>The method involves heating wooden pieces (4) under application of microwave radiation by a microwave generator, where each wooden piece is scatteredly exposed to the microwave radiation. Receptacles (3) for the wooden pieces are moved relative to the generator. The microwave generator is individually controlled. A drying parameter e.g. temperature and humidity, for each wooden piece is determined. Air is sucked during or after heating the wooden pieces. Humidity content of the air is determined. The wooden pieces are dried. An independent claim is also included for a device for drying wooden pieces.</p> |
