A glazing panel repair system includes a device 1 with coupling means 27 for coupling a pump arrangement 22 to the device 1 to provide holding suction to secure the device 1 to a glazing panel such as a vehicle windscreen and to provide pressure cycling to a repair zone (18 fig. 4). A single pump 22 may provide holding suction to secure the device 1 to the glazing panel and pressure cycling to the repair zone (18 fig. 4). The pump 22 may be controlled by a control device 23 programmed according to a pre-set procedure. Holding suction may be provided at an annular securing zone (10 fig. 4) via a one way check valve 17, the holding suction being released by a separate manually actuatable relief valve 16. Pressure cycling of positive pressure alternating with vacuum suction may be provided at a repair zone (18 fig. 4) by a powered pneumatic pump arrangement. The device may include a dock 6 for a rupturable repair fluid reservoir. |
