Composite seal and method of making composite seals

A composite seal 300 and a method of making a composite seal strip 900 are provided. The composite seal 300 has an elongate elastomeric core 235 sheathed in plastics 240. The method 900 includes providing the elongate elastomeric core 235 and passing the core through a die of a plastics extruder machine to thereby extrude a plastics sheath 240 onto the core. The sheath 240 fully surrounds the core 235 and is in intimate contact with an exterior periphery of the core 235.
