<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit capable of preventing deterioration in contrast due to stray light, and to provide an LED head, an exposure device, an image forming device, and a reading device having the lens unit. <P>SOLUTION: A lens unit includes a lens array in which multiple pairs of lenses, each pair of lenses having a first lens for forming a minified inverted image of an object and a second lens for forming a magnified inverted image of the image formed by the first lens, are substantially linearly arranged, a first light shielding member having a first hole between the first lens and the second lens, and a second light shielding member having a second hole between the object and the first lens.
