[Also in Division F4] A clamp for securing a spotlight housing (see division F4) to the top of a mast 34 comprises two parts 30, 31 held together by a clamping screw 32. Each part has two wedge-shaped grooves 35 at its upper end, adapted to engage ribs (28, 29, Figure 2, not shown) at the base of the housing, and a cup-shaped socket at its lower end adapted to embrace a ball 33 at the top of the mast. When the screw 32 is tightened a clamping action occurs between the grooves 35 and the ribs (28, 29) and between the parts and the ball. |
