<p>The present invention relates to an inspection apparatus for detecting defects in a test object in a liquid filled space. The inspection apparatus comprises an inspection body, a camera and vertical positioning equipment adapted to adjust the position of the camera in a vertical direction. The vertical positioning equipment comprises an elongated element having a vertical portion, a fastening member adapted to attach the detection device to the vertical portion, a vertical drive mechanism adapted to provide a motion of the vertical portion of the elongated element such that it moves the detection device to a desired vertical position along a vertical axis. The vertical portion of the elongated element has the property of being torsion rigid about the vertical axis.</p> |
