PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing absorbent articles which is capable of manufacturing absorbent articles configured such that a part coated with an adhesive and adhesive mass is highly smooth in a flap section forming sheet, while the joining strength of the flap section forming sheet to the other members or the fixing strength of the flap section to clothes has a sufficiently practical range without generating material loss in the flap section of as much as possible.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing absorbent articles includes: a resin layer forming step of forming resin layers 54 and 55 on a material roll of the flap section forming sheet 60' while coating and drying a fluid containing a thermoplastic resin to respective adhesive/adhesive mass-disposing positions on the material roll of the flap section forming sheet 60'; and a flap section forming sheet joining step of joining component members of an absorbent body 5 to the flap section forming sheet 60 formed with the resin layers 54 and 55 and having a shape of the flap section 6 through an adhesive 64 on the resin layer 54. |
